Psalm 8
S - O Lord, our Lord, how excellent is thy name in all the earth! who hast set thy glory above the heavens.
2 Out of the mouth of babes and sucklings hast thou ordained strength because of thine enemies, that thou mightest still the enemy and the avenger.
3 When I consider thy heavens, the work of thy fingers, the moon and the stars, which thou hast ordained;
4 What is man, that thou art mindful of him? and the son of man, that thou visitest him?
5 For thou hast made him a little lower than the angels, and hast crowned him with glory and honour.
6 Thou madest him to have dominion over the works of thy hands; thou hast put all things under his feet:
7 All sheep and oxen, yea, and the beasts of the field;
8 The fowl of the air, and the fish of the sea, and whatsoever passeth through the paths of the seas.

- I saw David recognizing the glory of the Lord. He observes Gods majesty in creation. He tells of Gods great strength. Lastly, he proclaims the excellence of God.

- This chapter
reminds me of how glorious God is. He magnificently crafted all of creation and still thinks highly of something as small as me.
K -Dear God, thank You for the beautiful world that You created. I ask
that You would help me to always recognize Your glory all around me. -AmenOverall, today's reading helped me to see that the Lord is mindful of me and I pray that you were able to see this as well. Thank you for joining me today and I hope to see you back here tomorrow when we read Psalm chapter nine. I will leave y'all with some discussion questions for today posted below. I invite you to fellowship with each other, share your thoughts, participate in the discussion questions, and encourage one another in the comment section below this post. Have a blessed day!
Has
there been a time in your life when you wondered if you mattered to God? How
did God help you realize that He cares for you?
